The structured interview is a valid, legally defensible assessment tool that offers greater success in identifying a quality hire than an unstructured or conventional interview. This course equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop, administer, and score structured interviews. A Personnel Psychologist discusses the key features of structured interviews, as well as best practices for developing structured interview questions and rating scales with benchmark definitions. Participants also learn industry best practices for conducting structured interviews and scoring candidate responses. Throughout the course, the instructor guides participants through exercises to facilitate their understanding of structured interviews.
